About
Aspire People is a leading Education Recruitment Agency and was using an open source telephony system that was not properly maintained by the previous provider. Eventually, it started to cause problems with performance and outages at the most inconvenient times. Paid commercial support for the system was not an option any longer due to the extent of damage created over the years.
Challenge
Replace a dying telephony system with a modern and reliable solution while minimising downtime during the migration. The recruitment industry is very sensitive to problems with telephony as it relies on the relationship between recruiters, tutors and schools. They trust each other, and voice communication is by far the most used method.
Solution
VividSky deployed a Next Generation phone system adding several new features like managing calls directly from computers, screen sharing and remote working, adding value and allowing staff to collaborate. Calling plans were migrated to a cheaper and more reliable provider as well as making the new system not just better, but also cheaper to run.
Result
Aspire People now has reduced their maintenance costs for the phone system and increased availability of the system to 99.99%, managing to get through the high volume of calls early morning every day without any performance issues or dropped calls. They can now monitor calls missed to ensure no business is lost and implement a performance monitoring plan on the telephone system, rewarding the agents that are calling and selling the most.
